CHRISTMAS LUNCH DETAILED MENU

To start

TOMATO & BASIL SOUP (V)

Warm tomato soup infused with basil oil, served with

sourdough bread and butter

PEPPERED STILTON MUSHROOMS (V)

Oven-baked f lat mushrooms in creamy peppercorn sauce,

topped with melted Stilton, served on a toasted croûton

SALMON & PRAWN MEDLEY

Cold water prawns and oven-roasted flaked salmon, on a bed

of peppery rocket and seafood sauce, with brown farmhouse

bread and butter

ORANGE WOOD SMOKED BELLY PORK

Belly pork strips on a roast potato croûton,

with braised red cabbage

Mains

TRADITIONAL ROAST TURKEY

Succulent roast turkey breast with pigs in blankets, cranberry

and sage stuffing, seasonal vegetables, potatoes and rich gravy

RIB OF BEEF

Slow-cooked rib of beef in rich red wine sauce, with green

beans, braised red cabbage and black pepper mashed potato

SMOKED COD LOIN

Plump loin cut from the middle of the fillet, oven-baked

in parsley butter sauce. Served with seasonal vegetables

and potatoes

ROASTED ONION & GOATS CHEESE TART (V)

Roasted red onion and melted goats cheese in a filo pastry

case, served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes

Pudding

CHRISTMAS PUDDING (V)

Traditional Christmas pudding packed with fruit and

candied peel, served with rich brandy sauce

MELTING CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Warm chocolate sponge with a white chocolate melting middle,

served with hot chocolate sauce

A rich lemon filling on a light pastry base, served

with Winter berry compôte and double cream
